MMP-MC has programs overseas and at home. Current focus overseas is on Bosnia-Herzegovina, India-- plus Afghanistan, Mexico, Haiti, Cambodia, especially women and children. At home, rebuilding in the aftermath of Katrina's natural disaster and human tragedy down South continues to be needed. We are responding with the God-parenthood Katrina's recovery program. The goal is to help a few families from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama pursue the rebuilding process of their homes and of their life with dignity. It is intended to be a two-year program. Funds and volunteers are needed. There is also a great need to care for our disabled service people to help restore their health and well-being. MMP-MC, through its local presence in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, is offering them to aid other young victims of conflict abroad. The aim is to mutually rebuild lives. The program is called "Little Flower". Funds and a volunteer are needed to make this program a reality. CFC universal code designation is # 70490.

MMP-MC human relief assistance on post war and natural calamity zones brings relief in the form of food, shelter, educational training, and medical and health assistance, including reconstructive surgery and psychological services to children victims of trauma. Outreach covers Bosnia and is expanding to other parts of the world to help children in India, Haiti and the poor in Mexico (picture).
Action is done according to acute emergency needs, crisis situations; specific requests made by grant seekers and/or grant makers; and resources available. We are also exploring helping in Africa through meaningful, well-targeted micro-development projects. We are currently not equipped to respond to tragedies of the magnitude of Darfur in Sudan and of the Middle East conflicts.
